It's a ZOO

We started our Spring Break staying the night at Sissy's house with Meme and Bella (and Candace and Ava were crazy enough to visit)!  Monday morning we woke up bright and early (well Preston was the last one awake) to head out from one zoo (Sissy's house with kids and toys) to another zoo (the Dallas Zoo).  I have to say I was a little nervous as to how this would go, and I was pleasantly surprised.  Don't get me wrong, there were a few fits (over hand sanitizer if you can believe it) and loud screams (which luckily fit in with the animals), but all-in-all, it was a great day.

Now, if you ask Preston what all he saw at the zoo, he usually responds with "a cow."  I don't know where is pulled that from.  There were no cows what-so-ever at the zoo, but apparently he thinks it's funny to say so he does every time he is asked.  He was also very excited to see the carousel (which he thought was so neat until he started moving).  He also loved the lemurs (though he thought they were cats).  AND don't forget the very exciting water feature at the entrance.  SO $100+ later, he did enjoy the zoo, but liked way more than just the animals... or cows if you ask him.

Bath time for the kiddos...

Midnight (um- 9 o'clock) snack at Sissy's!

"Helping," Sissy get ready.

ZOO TIME!

Here is a video of Preston telling his Daddy about the "cows" and, of course, singing a little Justin Bieber!
