Last Saturday, all 6 Emerson's (Brad, Justin, Candace, the kids, and myself) headed out to Prairie Lights right by the lake. We took Ava two years ago when I was pregnant, but skipped out last year because we figured Preston would be WAY too young. We had a great time and as it turns out, Ava's favorite part was sitting in the back trunk space of the SUV through the park and Preston's was a close tie between sitting in Brad's lap while driving or watching Barney on Candace's phone in the back. Yah, so maybe is was a little too young this year as well, but we had a great time (until the last 10 minutes or so when Preston was OVER.IT.- and that being said, so was everyone else in the car)! I can't wait to go back next year, when hopefully, both kids will the enjoy it for the lights and not random other distractions (I know, keep dreaming).
